The hike along the Coastal Trail between Tennessee Valley Road and Muir Beach has stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. If you choose to walk along Tennessee Valley Road, you will end up on a private beach.
Here is a view of San Francisco from the Marin Headlands, where there are plenty of places to hike with amazing views. One such hike would be to walk along the entire length of Golden Gate Bridge with awesome views of Angel Island and San Francisco skyline.
Mori Point’s bluff near Pacifica on clear days offers stunning ocean views north to Point Reyes, south to Pedro Point and west to the Farallon Islands in the Pacific.
Angel Island is a short ferry ride away from San Francisco, and the views from its hiking trails are some of the best.
From the Dipsea Trail out of Stinson Beach, you get a panoramic view of the coast toward Bolinas.
